Thanks to students from Metro's National Art Honor Society who decorated gift bags for teachers to receive their school gear gifts from the PTSA!

The Meaningful May calendar is filled with ways to make each day count by being intentional and focusing on positive actions.

Mr. Sam and Ms. Mandy from the Columbus Metropolitan Libraries volunteered their time and equipment to create a recording studio so students from the Middle School Drama Club/Talent Show could record their hit song, "Taki's from the Bathroom!"

Metro's AfterCare students took advantage of windy April days to make and fly kites.

Senior Salwa Azrak is networking with students and administrators from across the country on ways to improve schools at the National Assoc. of Secondary School Principals conference. Salwa is attending as one of 25 finalists to receive the National Honor Society Scholarship.

Congratulations to 10th grader Andrew Wissman (center of photo) on his first place Men's Singles finish at the Columbus City Schools' Coaches Tournament last night. Andrew is a member of the Centennial H.S. tennis team.
