Middle school students are receiving special pins from staff for positive behaviors, like helping keep things clean or showing respect to others. If your child comes home with extra "bling" on their school lanyard, ask about it!

J-Term @ Metro: The middle school "If I Built a House" class designed, created and displayed floor plans for their ideal homes after learning about building styles and interior design.

J-Term @ Metro: Cadets and active duty officers run students through drills at Ohio State's ROTC building as part of the Intro to Military Science class.

J-Term @ Metro:The STEM Works class learns mechanical engineering concepts through a roller coaster design activity then try their hand at cleaning up an oil spill after learning about work done by chemical engineers.

J-Term @ Metro: The middle school Playground Design class visits Metro's future home at the Indianola site. Students are learning real-world application as they work with the construction team to develop plans for the outdoor space.

J-Term @ Metro: Students begin learning the basics of the box step during the first day of Ballroom Dance class. Thanks to our partners from Ohio State for sharing their talent!
