Thursday, May 13 has been changed to an asynchronous learning day for Metro Middle and High School. That means students will work offline rather than reporting in person or logging in following their regular schedule. The change will allow students celebrating Eid to participate in classes without missing a full day of instruction.
Friday, May 14 is already designated as an offline learning (all virtual) day on the school calendar, so students will work from home on both Thursday and Friday of next week.
Please note that May 13 & 14 are still school days, so student participation is expected and attendance will be taken. On each day, students should check Schoology for their scheduled classes and submit assignments posted by their teachers (check for Thursday classes on Thursday and Friday classes on Friday). Assignments should be submitted by 2:30pm to be marked as present for each day.

Is your student an inquiring learner? The Metro School is looking for rising sixth or ninth graders who not only ask questions, but act on those questions to discover answers.
Check out our link below and be sure to submit an application for your inquisitive thinker before Friday, May 28.

Schoology is experiencing a temporary problem, so students trying to log in from home using Schoology links may have had trouble getting into class Tuesday afternoon. To avoid the problem, students should log in directly on AdobeConnect.
If your child was marked absent in error, please ignore the absence call. We will make any necessary corrections to attendance.

Metro experienced a power outage on Thursday, April 15 at 12:50pm. Virtual students are asked to wait for further instructions on afternoon classes. We hope the outage will be resolved quickly.

Due to a technical issue impacting access to internet in our building, Metro is moving to a virtual day for Tuesday, April 6. That means students are to remain home and report for their regular Tuesday schedule online; no buses will run and no students should report to the building.
We expect the issue to be corrected during business hours tomorrow but did not want students onsite without the ability to connect online for class content while the problem is being resolved. We apologize for any inconvenience, but greatly appreciate your understanding.

Metro Middle School students enjoy the warm spring weather. Racing has become a favorite event during recess.
