No problem is too big for Metro's critical thinkers and collaborators!
High school Key Club and middle school HydroHarvest Club members have been hard at work finding ways to address food insecurity in Central Ohio. One in eight Ohioans are food insecure, and our students are doing their part to ensure that members of our community have access to fresh, healthy food.
Together, club members have cared for over 200 produce plants, which will be harvested and donated to the Neighborhood Services Incorporated (NSI) food pantry in May.
Through the support of our local Kiwanis club and the Middle School Agriscience program, students are making an active impact in our community!
