Metro Senior Akhila Boda was one of two Ohio recipients of the Prudential Spirit of Community Awards, which recognize students for outstanding volunteer service. Boda began Metro's chapter of Girl Up in 2016, an international initiative that supports United Nations programs promoting the health, education and leadership of girls in developing countries.
