Event will have students thinking outside the box

Cardboard is key in the 2015 Community Cardboard Challenge, as students, teachers, parents and community members rip apart cardboard boxes and use the pieces to solve a number of creative challenges.

Sponsored by the Columbus Museum of Art and the PAST Foundation, the event is scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon Oct. 10 at several local schools.

In the other two cardboard challenges at the Columbus Museum of Art, participants were asked to make things such as houses, different kinds of vehicles, inventions to solve certain problems, or a variety of games and game pieces.
