Anti-racism - as well as combating institutional racism and bias - is work that we, as administrators at Metro, have been involved in and deeply concerned about for years. We are highly invested in providing a learning environment that promotes success for all students. At the beginning of the 2020-2021 school year, we will be providing more details with specifics about how we'll be doing that work this year.

While we know that many families are already having these conversations, several have reached out to us for resources. The items provided here are just a starting point; we hope they will help you begin (or continue) conversations about racism and bias. Our plan is to continue these conversations during the school year.
